She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Burns and Anna Belle Norwood Burns; her husband David Lanier; her daughter Regina Lanier; and her son-in-law Ed Vidulich.

She is survived by: her son Gayle Vidulich of Memphis, TN; and her brother Frankie Bertrand.
