She was predeceased by: her parents, Nat Oakes and Claris Oakes; her brother Aubrey Oakes; her former husband James N. McGhee; and her husband Thomas Bayless.
She is survived by: her brother Kenneth L. Oakes; her nieces, Tammy R. Pack and Heidi L. Broach (Paul Edward); her pets, Finn and Noel; and her children, Erma, Missy, Max, Snickers, PopTart, Poppy, Dominick, Louie and Kiko.
The family requests that those wishing to express sympathy to consider making a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Memphis Humane Society.
