She was predeceased by: her siblings, Joyce Adams and Bobby Herndon; and her children, Doris Renee and John E. Jr.. She is survived by: her brother Charles Herndon of Parsons; her children, Leticia Celeste Sossaman (Mike Jones) of Bartlett and Dennis J. Sossaman (Glinda) of Memphis; and her grandchildren, William "Billy", David, Charli, Robert, Andrew and James.
