He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, J. D. Cobb and Mary Louise Cobb (Hemphill); his former wife Nancy Gail Martin; his wife Gail Cobb (Martin); his sons, Bryan Alan Cobb and Loren David Cobb; and his grandchildren, Brittney Alanna Lucka (Robert) and Kristina Jones (Brent).

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital of Memphis, Tn. may be sent in his name.
