He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Louise Kilgore and Clyde Kilgore; his aunt Archieva; his uncle Henry Kilgore of Gibson Hill, Alabama.; his wife Charlotte; his children, Jason Israel (Elizabeth) of Lewisburg, MS and Jennifer Edge (Trey) of Bartlett, TN.; and his grandchildren, Keaton Israel, Halei Edge, Hayden Edge, Kaitlyn Edge of Hannah Edge, T. J, Gavin Edge, Parker Israel, Katelyn Israel and Hadlianne Edge.
