As we bid Carolyn Jean farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Carolyn Jean is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David Hollis Vaughn and Ruth Jones Vaughn of Kansas. She is survived by: her husband Jim; and her sons, Edwin Ewing Keith of Selmer, James Hendricks (Cheryl) of Atlanta, Scott Hendricks (Susan) of Collierville and Eric Hendricks of Germantown, Tennessee.. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Memorial Park Funeral Home (5668 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38119). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in memory of Carolyn.
