He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Thompson and Dorothy Thompson; and his sister Ann Hall. He is survived by: his wife Joy; his sons, Ed (Karen) and Mark (Laurie); his grandchildren, Jeff Thompson (Kristen), Logan Thompson (Chelsea), Corinne Huffman (Kyle), Hailey Thompson, Darby McKnight (Stephen) and Faith Thompson; and his great grandchildren, Lorelai Huffman and Scottie Mae Thompson.
