He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Lowery; his son Michael Lowery (Karen); his granddaughters, Katy Bennett (Ross) and Crystal Murry; his great grandchildren, Carter Bennett and Chance Bennett; and his brother Gary Lowery (Diane).

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
