She is survived by: her son Monte Dean Merkl; and her grandchildren, Dirk Andrew Merkl, Brenton Scott Merkl and Breanna Grace Merkl.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Talladega Funeral Home Chapel (65001 AL-77, Talladega, AL 35160). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
