She was predeceased by: her parents, Hunter Burton and Mary Burton (Lamar); her husband David H. Rhead; and her son Gary E. Rhead. She is survived by: her daughter Carol Tessen of Bartlett, TN; and her grandchildren, Sean Tessen of East Petersburg, PA, Karrah Camacho (Jafet) of York, PA and Justin Tessen (Angela) of Lancaster, PA. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
