He was predeceased by: his parents, Hiram Welch and Marie Welch; his siblings, Robert Welch (Betty) and Wilma Jenkins (Ted); and his sister-in-law Patricia Yarborough.
He is survived by: his spouse Kay Crawley Welch; his children, Denise Keylon (Tracy) and Douglas Welch (Candy); his siblings, Ronald "Biggin" Welch (Dorothy), Herbert Welch and Ann Welch James; and his brother-in-law Phil Crawley (Virginia). He is also survived by nieces, eight nephews and numerous great-nieces and nephews.
