With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sue Powell of Auburntown, Tennessee, who passed away on October 8, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Riley Oakley Crook and Sallie Fite Crook; and her brother Riley Donald Crook. She is survived by: her husband Homer Powell of Auburntown; her children, Sara Irwin (Bill) of Auburntown, Elizabeth Graves (Jason) of Canton, GA and John Powell (Brandy) of Auburntown; and her grandchildren, Brad Irwin, Nathan Irwin, Joshua Graves, Hannah Graves, Noah Graves, Catherine, Emily, Tucker and Brodie.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Mrs. Powell to the Prosperity Baptist Church.
