It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jay Nelson of Auburntown, Tennessee, who passed away on March 20, 2025, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Larry "Bud" Nelson and Dorothy Marlin Nelson; his brother Scott Nelson; and his grandparents, Jim, Retha Miller Marlin, Paul and Aliene McCullough Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy McFarlin Nelson; his daughter Denise Jones; and his siblings, Steve Nelson (Sally) and Linda Nelson Woods (Bob).
In lieu of flowers, Jay would want everyone to do simple acts of kindness for others and remember those at Shriners Children's Hospital with memorial donations.
