She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Daniel Emmett Cary and Anna Mildred Katz; her husband Oscar; her children, Mark Brownfield (Robin Chaves) of Oregon, Byron Brownfield (Theresa) of Colorado, Marcia Brownfield of Tennessee, Leanna Brownfield (Jennifer Norton) of Tennessee and Bentley Brownfield; her grandchildren, Brittany Bolyard (Michael), Mallory Brownfield and Zachary Brownfield; and her great grandchildren, Alexa and Estella Bolyard. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
The family suggests memorial donations be made to Sedalia Animal Shelter or a charity of the donor's choice, in care of McLaughlin Funeral Chapel.
