He was predeceased by: his father William Edward; his former wife Margaret Hopper Crider; his siblings, Nala Allen, Helen Parrish, Oder Webber, Paul Crider, Willis Crider and G. C. Crider; his daughter Debi Fry; his grandson Jamie Appleton; and his stepson Jerry Whitby.
He is survived by: his wife Iris "Yonnie" Crider; his children, Donnie Crider (Wanda) and Donna Jackson of Atwood; and his stepsons, Rickey Whitby of Dandridge and Paul Whitby of Marshall, Illinois. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
