He was predeceased by: his father Charlie Ray Murray. He is survived by: his mother Wanda Champion Murray of Atwood; his brothers, Charles A. Murray of Atwood and Keith Murray of Atwood; his niece Stephanie Hazlewood; his nephew Will Murray; and his great-nieces, Allie and Anna Hazlewood.

Memorials may be directed to the First United Methodist Church in Atwood.
