He was predeceased by: his parents, Leatha Whitmore Brooks and Robert Whitmore; his siblings, Janice Carey and Russell Whitmore; and his grandson Harley Cane Whitmore.
He is survived by: his wife Wilodean McCormick Whitmore; his children, Nita Whitmore Tosh (Dale) of Bradford, Jason Whitmore of Bradford, Keith Whitmore (Jean) of Friendship, Bobby Joe Whitmore (Amber) of Atwood and Nicky Williams (Michelle) of Trezevant; and his stepchildren, Tommy Williams (Lydia) of Greenfield and Angie Knight (Terry) of Atwood. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, and 27 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to the Shiloh Cemetery in Bradford.
