She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Poteete; her sons, Jim and Tony; her grandchildren, Thomas, Willow and Emma; her mother Virginia Beasley Cortese of Memphis; her sister Toni Gigi of Huntington, WV; her niece Tammy Gigi of Huntington, WV; her nephew Don Gigi (Darian); and her great-nephew Keegan Gigi of Canal Fulton, OH..

The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to West Cancer Clinic.
