He was predeceased by: his parents, Thurman Daniel, Sr. and Jean Woolfolk; his children, Jessica Daniel and Kevin Wallace; and his granddaughter Jessica Wallace.

He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Deal Daniel; his sons, Jeff Daniel (Deborah) and Brandon Daniel; his stepsons, Hank Deal and Jeremy Deal; and his siblings, Mike Daniel, Sue Spicer and Ann Maxwell. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren.
