He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Singleton Sr. and Ruth Pugh Singleton. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Swift Singleton; his children, Amy Singleton Settles (Justin) and Brian Singleton; his grandson Jett Settles; his mother-in-law Linnie Edwards Swift; his siblings, Brenda Woodard (Lum), Rudy Singleton (Selena) and Jarvis Singleton; and his aunts, Gladys Lewis and Dollie Jean Hall. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
