It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Pickard Strong of Atoka, Tennessee, who passed away on October 22, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan Pickard Strong to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Pickard and Ruth Pickard; her son Robert Jeffrey Strong; and her grandson Michael Connor Arney. She is survived by: her husband Robert L. Strong; her daughters, Jan Jones (David) of Atoka and Julie Arney (Mike) of Collierville; her grandchildren, Elise Thompkins (Mike), Jon Robert Jones and Mick Arney; and also LaVerne Hawkins.
It is requested that social distancing be observed and masks be worn during the visitation and service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Salem A.R.P. Church.
