He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Simpson and Ida Mae Simpson; his siblings, Danny Lee Simpson and Charlotte Forrester; and his son-in-law Mike Krieger.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Simpson (Lisa) and Shelley Krieger; and his grandchildren, Katie Chason, McKena Krieger, Jesse Simpson and Seth Simpson.
