He is survived by: his siblings, Jimmy 'Jimbo Simpson and Ella Mae Moore; his children, William Simpson Jr. (Lisa) of Athens, TN., Tammy Simpson of Athens, TN., Sherry Smith (Ralph) of Athens, TN. and Sandy Espey of Athens, TN.; and his daughters-in-law, Gaynell Simpson of Cleveland, TN., Rashawda Arnwine, Willie Matlock, Tabitha McDermott (David) and Shytanna McDermott (Pete). He is also survived by Many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
