He was predeceased by: his mother Irene Perry; his brother Herbert Perry; and his aunts, Minnie Satterfield and Bertha Weaver. He is survived by: his wife Linda Lou Jenkins Perry; his children, Sabrina Perry Edwards and William G. Perry Jr. (Billy); his grandchildren, Josiah Edwards (Lane), Israel Edwards, Zanan Edwards (Andreea), Malachi Edwards (Sarah), Gideon Edwards, Abram Edwards and Olivia Perry; and his great grandchild Liam Edwards.
