She was predeceased by: her parents, Will Runion and Cynthia Hester Nipper; her husband Taylor Hester; her children, Juanita Roy and James Hester; and her siblings, Norman Runion, Lester Runion, Franklin Nipper, Mae Lewis and Willie Runion Standridge.
She is survived by: her children, Mildred Standridge of Decatur One and George Hester of Decatur; and her sister Fannie Lou Hutson of Gastonia, NC.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
