He is survived by: his wife Patsy Henderson Shirk; his sons, Stacy Lee Shirk of Athens, TN and Marcus Nathan Shirk of Athens, TN; his granddaughter Ashlee Elizabeth Shirk Shahan (Dayton); his siblings, Barbara Martin (Amos), Johnnie Belle Middleton, Ross Shirk (Barbara) of Niota and Jerry Shirk (Connie) of Englewood; and his brother-in-law Reed Moses. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
