He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis McDaniel and Pearl Avens McDaniel; his wife Glenda Hooper McDaniel; and his brothers, Bobby McDaniel and Newell McDaniel.
He is survived by: his daughters, Doris Cameron of Athens and Sue Gray of Knoxville; his granddaughters, Elaine Cameron of Madisonville and Hilaire Prock (David) of Madisonville; and his siblings, Edna Self of Maryville and Austin McDaniel of Madisonville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
