He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Watson and Ader Wall Watson; and his siblings, Zeola Sharp, Mearline Moore, Dearl, Sammy and Arlin Watson.
He is survived by: his wife Glenda Blackwell Watson of Athens; his daughter Lisa; his son-in-law Houston Anderson of Riceville; and his grandsons, Josh (Jesse Anderson) and Alex Anderson. He is also survived by grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
