It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Nelson (Athens, Tennessee), who passed away on April 5, 2020, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Thomas Nelson to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Willard, Beulah Nelson and Jess H. Davis Jr.; his mother-in-law Deborah Webb Whittaker; and his great-aunt Flora Lee Fitch.

He is survived by: his wife Autumn Hughes Nelson of Athens, Tenn.; his children, Rhiannon Marie Nelson and Riley Willard Nelson; his parents, Carolyn Nelson and Larry Nelson of Decatur, Tenn.; his sister Amy Nelson; his brother-in-law John Garrigan of Madison, Ala; his nieces and nephews, Abi, Thomas and William; his parents-in-law, Randy and Karen Hughes; and also Mary E. Davis.
