It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theresa Sloan of Athens, Tennessee, born in Ahmeek, Michigan, who passed away on March 7, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Rozich and Theresa Krivic Rozich; her son James Ray Sloan; and her husband William Oakley Sloan, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Debra Hixson (Rick) of Bakersfield, CA; her grandchildren, Kevin Torbert, Erin Thomas (Drew), Melissa Carter (Billy), Keith Sloan (Kim), Tanya Bates (Dustin), Priscilla Johnson (Josh), Nathan Sloan (Amanda), Karissa Eaton (Joseph) and Eric Sloan (Morgan); and her great grandchild Many. She is also survived by friends, especially her children, 9 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren, Many extended family and friends.
