She is survived by: her husband Roy Newman (Scott) of Athens; her children, Caylee Newman of Athens and John; her daughter-in-law Cherish Newman of Loudon; her grandchildren, Mara, Olivia Newman and Solomon Newman; and her sisters, Glenna Lee of Englewood and Mary Hammonds of Etowah.
