He is survived by: his wife Ashley Diane Black; his mother Sheila Axley Black; his close friend Jerry Monroe; his children, Lauren Grace Black, Lilyan Faith Phillips, Steve Grayson Black II of Athens and Carson Grant Black of Athens; his sister Robin Michelle (Rob Hopkins); his niece Brooklyn Hopkins; his nephew Chandler Hopkins of LaVergne, TN; his parents-in-law, Patti and Mike Amos; and also, Walker Davis and Lydia Davis of Athens.
