He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy "Littlen" James and Ruby Henry Jackson; his sister Janice Goins; his grandparents, Clint, Matilda Jackson, Eli and Eva Henry; his brother-in-law Delmer Goins (John McHone, Sr.); and his nephews, Roger Goins and John McHome, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Phyllis Coleman Jackson of Athens, TN; his sons, Roy Jackson, Jr. (Gene) and Adam Jackson; his grandchildren, Amber Jackson, Leah Jackson and Roy E Jackson III (Trey); his great grandchildren, Hayden Jackson, Colton Wallis, Braylen Jackson, Brentley Jackson and Holden Jackson; and his sisters, Joan McHone and Carolyn Stephens (Wayne). He is also survived by Grandsons and great grandsons.
