He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Jack and Mattie Ladd Pogue; and his sisters, Troubles Butler and Brenda Teague. He is survived by: his children, Patricia Pogue of Athens, Debra P. McGaugh of Knoxville and James Pogue of Alcoa; and his siblings, Rusty Pogue of Rockwood and Linda Schubert Rollins of Harriman.
The family suggests memorials be made to Walnut Hill Baptist Church.
