He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Foree and Vesta Rowland Davis; his siblings, Juanita Davis (Rutherford), Boyd Davis and Ralph Davis; his nephew Ronnie Davis (Trish Davis); his great-nephew David Davis; and his brothers-in-law, Ray Patterson and Pat Torbett.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cheryl Davis of Athens and Pam Shaw of Athens; his grandchildren, Jeff Shaw, Britt Shaw, Taylor Shaw (Grace), Hunter Shaw (Chelsea), Heath Shaw and Callie Shaw; his great grandchildren, Millie and Titus; and his siblings, Margaret Pardue (Joe) of Cleveland, Betty Torbett of Englewood, Ruth Patterson (Sherman) of Knoxville, Trula Patterson of Athens, Glen Davis (Linda) of Cleveland, Jimmy Davis (Bobbie) of Clemson, SC, Tommy Davis (Gayle) of Athens and Gene Davis (Nancy).
