He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Buttram and Edith Buttram. He is survived by: his wife Susan Blackburn Buttram; his children, Greg Buttram (Margaret) of Centerville, Ohio, Ashley Barksdale (Allen) of Raleigh, NC and Ellen Brett (Jim) of Tucson, AZ; his grandchildren, Katie, Mack Buttram, Emily, Caroline Barksdale and Jax Brett; his brother Alex Buttram (Janet) of Chattanooga; and his brother-in-law Clifford Blackburn (Nancy) of Athens.
