It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Alley Sr. of Athens, Tennessee, born in Tompkinsville, Kentucky, who passed away on June 18, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bedford Alley and Lola Thompson Alley; his son Robert Paul Alley, Jr.; and his brothers, Jack Alley and Earl Alley.
He is survived by: his significant other Peggy Engel Alley; his daughters, Michelle Sue Alley Taylor and Debra Lynn Miller (Joshua); his grandchildren, Natasha Alley, Aubrey Miller and J. D. Miller; his great grandchild Kaiden Alley; and his sister Hilda Hillings. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
