We are sad to announce that on March 15, 2023, at the age of 63, Ricky Joe Steed of Athens, Tennessee, born in Fort Gordon, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Charles Steed; and his daughter Tonya Steed. He is survived by: his daughters, Clarista Brooks (Joe) of Chatsworth, GA, Melanie Vann (Dean) of Dalton, GA and Jennifer Pierce (Ricky) of Dalton, GA; his siblings, Linda Rentschler (Tim) of St. Louis, MO, Debra Steed Schmehl of Brandon, FL and Tony Steed (Ginger) of Etowah, TN; and his close friend Debby Puckett. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made in Ricky's name to help with his final cost.
