He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Arnett and Artense Monroe Arnett; his wife Patricia Ann Shepherd (Patsy); his stepmother Marie Underwood Arnett; his son Chris Arnett; and his brother Jerry Arnett.
He is survived by: his daughter Stephanie Arnett of Athens; his grandchildren, Shelby Malone, Melody Malone (Kristin) and Kimberly Malone; his great grandchildren, Rhett and Beau; his stepsister Shirley Rothwell (Robert) of Decatur; and his brothers, Ronnie Arnett (Johnnie) of Cleveland and Larry Arnett (Kim) of Athens. He is also survived by Several Nieces and Nephews.
