She was predeceased by: her husband Elbert M. Rogers; her parents, Charles Franklin "Dutch" and Elizabeth Reed Boggess; her sister Gwendolyn Boggess Chance; her brother-in-law Joseph Herbert Chance; her brother Charles Robert Boggess; her sister-in-law Rita Joudry Boggess of Athens; and her son Buell Cleveland Cox, Jr..

She is survived by: her sons, Dr. Charles Boggess Cox of Athens and Cary Lotspeich Cox (Sally) of Tennessee; her granddaughter Allison Elizabeth Cox Vasquez (Steve Padgett Vasquez); her great grandchild Valkyrie Grace Vasquez; and her niece Cynthia Chance Southmayd of Athens.
