Nathaniel L. Goode Obituary

Nathaniel (Nathan) L. Goode passed peacefully from this life at UT hospital on January 17, 2022. Nathan was an amazing musician, father, and husband. He was a member of The Fellowship Church of Sweetwater and a Graduate of Meigs County High School.

He is survived by his wife Tiffany Goode & children Lily & Xaivier Goode, grandmothers Hazel Bailey & Joy Smith, grandfather Donald Goode his dad & stepmother, Michael and Paula Goode, step dad Daniel Dorsey, siblings James Wilkerson, Daniel Goode, Terry Wilkerson, Brittany Smith (Jimmy Smith), Matthew Wilkerson & Chandler Goode, special in laws Rodney & Tabitha Smith, Candace (James) Smith, Kaitlyn Smith, several nieces and nephews that he loved dearly and many special friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother Angela Connar and grandfather Frank Bailey.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 24, 2022 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM in the Athens chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 400 S White Street in Athens, TN. A service celebrating his life will follow the visitation time at 3:00 PM with the Reverend Derek McCosh officiating.

The interment will follow in the Decatur City Cemetery with Daniel Goode, Thomas Stanton, Michael Sturgill, James Smith, Jimmy Smith, Nathan Krause, Andrew Scroggins and Matthew Wilkerson serving as pallbearers.
