It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Monte Gray of Athens, Tennessee, who passed away on January 1, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert "Red" and Ruby Jean Jones Gray; and his son Michael Gray. He is survived by: his wife Linda Louise Ruckle Gray of Athens; his children, Monica Gray Benjamin of Sharpsburg, GA, Chris Gray of North Augusta, SC and Jeremy Gray (Christy) of Warrenville, SC; his brother Elbert Carlton (Kaye) of Oak Ridge, TN; and his cousin Elaine Gray of Athens. He is also survived by 9 Grandchildren, several Nieces and Nephews.
