He is survived by: his wife Christine Combs Burgess of Athens; his sons, Sean Burgess of Athens and Jason (Helena) of Riceville; his sister Francis Mattson (Dairl) of Georgetown; his grandchildren, Ashley Burgess, Kayla Hall and Kayley Burgess; and his great grandchildren, Rupert Hall, Arlo Hall and Burgess Lee. He is also survived by Several Nieces and Nephews.
