Mary Axley Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 14, 2020, at the age of 94, Mary Axley (Athens, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Hutsell and Sarah Hutsell; her husband Grayson; and her siblings, Blanche Landers, Caroline Elliott, Charles, Bennett, John, Joe and Don Hutsell.

She is survived by: her daughter Sheila Black; her grandchildren, Steve Grayson Black (Ashley), Robin Hopkins (Rob), Grayson, Lauren, Carson Black, Lily Phillips, Chandler and Brooklyn Hopkins; and her siblings, Betsy Elliott (Cecil) and Roy Hutsell (Jennifer).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Winnie to the McMinn Senior Activity Center, 205 McMinn Avenue, Athens, TN 37303.
