It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marilyn Gail Anderson (Athens, Tennessee), born in Englewood, Tennessee, who passed away on July 5, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Zeola Cochran and Hubert Cochran; and her brother Delane Cochran. She is survived by : her siblings, Huberta, Ed, Dorcus, Twilla, Jean, June and Doug; her husband Claude Anderson; and her children, Dean (Pam), Sherry, Debbie (Rusty) and Alan (Jill). She is also survived by seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

“When I first became a member of the Englewood Rug Hookers, Gail lit up the room when she walked in. She worked tirelessly for her community and for the Englewood Rug Hookers. We all loved her and she will be greatly missed. I was unable to attend her service due to ill health, but I will miss her very much.”
