It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Jaibat (Athens, Tennessee), born in Autryville, North Carolina, who passed away on April 11, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Doyl Lee Spence of Wausau, Florida.. She is survived by: her husband Gus Jaibat of Athens; her mother Patricia Elaine Edwards Johnson of Autryville, NC; her children, Sumer Rose Jaibat, Zakariah Jaibat of Athens and Ryan Jaibat of Athens; and her brother Jeffrey Spence (Joan) of Autryville, NC..
There will a visitation at Smith Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 15, 2020, from 1:00-4:00 pm, this will be in compliance with CDC, COVID-19 regulations.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers donations be made to McMinn Regional Humane Society, 219 Alford Street, Athens, TN 37303.
