Culpepper, Sr.; her son Carl Howard Culpepper, Jr.; her siblings, Julia N. Elkins, Elsie N. Lovingood (C. Sheridan Lovingood), Roy Lee, Ray Houston and Carless Estel Norwood; and her brother-in-law John F. Elkins, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughter Beverly DeuEtta Hudgins Jolley; her daughter-in-law Lynn Culpepper; her stepchildren, Veva B. Cockerell (Larry) of Dallas and Jan Marie Boylston (Bert Rogers) of Charlotte, NC; her grandchildren, Daniel Deal (Rachael) of Etowah, April Webb (Mark), David Deal (Jessica) of Athens and Carl Howard Culpepper III of Aiken, SC; her stepgranddaughters, Carolyn C. Herndon (Drew) of Dallas, TX. and Cathy Marie Fuller (Brett) of Dallas, TX.; her great grandchildren, Jesse, James, John, Allysia, Tyler, Faith and Kaylee; her great great grandchild Juliette Grace Cummings; her nephew Charles Lovingood (Cindy); her cousin Jean Norwood Green; her close friends, Edith Layman of Athens, Christopher Mauck of Madisonville, Bill and Rebekah Lowry of Athens; and her friends, Bartow, Mabel Boylston and Don Shelton (Judy).
