Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Lura Lee Leatherwood of Athens, Tennessee, who passed away at the age of 80, on March 27, 2021. She was predeceased by: her son Larry; her parents, Cruiser Smith and Myrtle Smith; her parents-in-law, Claude and Lucille Leatherwood; her daughter-in-law Cheryl Leatherwood; and her siblings, Houston Smith and Sharon Duggan.
She is survived by: her husband Tommy Leatherwood; her daughter Teresa Kirkland (Randy); her siblings, JoElla Curtis, Nadine Wilson and Vicky Standridge; her grandchildren, Leah Witenbarger (David) and Levi Leatherwood (Cindy); and her great grandchildren, Angel Leatherwood, Iris and Selah Witenbarger. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
