She was predeceased by: her parents, William A. Frye and Anna Mae Kelley Frye; her husband Charles A. Hughes; and her siblings, John Clark Frye and Dortha Frye Barr.
She is survived by: her children, Phyllis (Steve Byrum) of Signal Mountain and Alan (Claire) of Knoxville; her grandchildren, Philip Byrum (Katie), Elizabeth Hughes Sigman (Mark), Aaron Hughes (Ashley) and Meredith Brown (Sullivan); and her great grandchildren, May, Charlie, Olivia, Tate, Braden, Adley and Bradford.
