She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Peters and Emma Peters; her husband Clyde Thomas Weir; and her son Thomas Lynn Weir. She is survived by: her son Jeffery Scott Weir (Pam) of Athens, TN; her grandchildren, Amy Frase of Englewood, TN, Justin Scott Weir, Whitney of Athens, TN and Blake Witt of Athens, TN; her great grandchild James Scott Weir; her sisters, Eva Burris (Rick) of Calhoun, TN and Barbara Hawkins of Athens, TN; and her close friend William Owenby. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other loved family members.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Companion Funeral & Cremation Service (400 S White St, Athens, TN 37303). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
